
Besides being delicious, this powerful smoothie is a bomb of nutrients! It’s a perfect breakfast substitute, leaving you completely satisfied, and giving you the energy to start your day!
Here, we share some of the great benefits in the ingredients of this yummy smoothie.
Coconut Water: An excellent option to hydrate, it has natural electrolytes. Low in calories, contains potassium, calcium, magnesium, and antioxidants. It also contains amino acids que help with tissue repair; and Cytokines (that helps with aging and has cancer fighting properties). Also, good for managing high blood pressure.
Beets: Packed with nutrients like Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Manganese, Folate and Iron. Helps maintain Blood Pressure and fights inflammation.
Carrots: A great source of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Vitamin A as Beta-carotene helps your eye sight and is important for growth and development. Vitamin B6 is involved in the conversion of food into energy. Potassium, a mineral that helps control your blood pressure too.
Sunflower Seeds: Excellent source of several nutrients like Selenium, Flavonoids and Vitamin E that help prevent chronic diseases, chronic inflammation, and helps fight diabetes.

Without further ado, here is the recipe:
1 ½ Cups of Coconut Water
2 TBSP of organic Beats, washed, peeled and chopped in medium-sized squares
1 Organic Carrot, washed and scrubbed
¼ Cup of Raw Sunflower Seeds, without salt. (soak the night before, rinse before using)
2 soaked Dates without seed
4 or 5 Organic Strawberries
Directions:
Place all ingredients in your favorite Blender (here is mine) or Nutribullet. Blend until you get all ingredients well mixed and it becomes a creamy and smooth liquid.
